Mixpanel Internship
My eight-week internship in Singapore was at the Asia-Pacific office of Mixpanel, an event analytics software company. My role within the company was a Customer Success Architect intern.
Mixpanel
Mixpanel is a multinational software company founded in San Francisco in 2009. They track data and event analytics for businesses and helps them visualize their data to draw useful conclusions. It allows its users to create reports from data collected to analyze user behavior. Mixpanel serves as a way for companies to better understand their users and make better business decisions as a result.
Customer Success Architect
As a customer success architect, I designed a learning management system for the company to train their new customers more efficiently. This process involved creating documentation for the software, enabling video and quiz capabilities, and connecting the certification with LinkedIn. We were able to launch the LMS to pilot customers and collect feedback which we presented at an all-hands meeting.
Goals
My first goal coming into this internship was to successfully build out the final project up to the company standards. I was able to accomplish this thanks to the support of my coworkers and being willing to reach to others for help. My second goal was to get a better idea of what career I want to pursue. Through meetings with different teams at Mixpanel, I better understood different job positions. I also learned what it is like to work in a company setting.
