Technical Skills

Through designing the new learning management system, I have learned how to use software such as Navattic and WorkRamp to make the process more efficient. Using these software, I was able to enable video and quiz capabilities and connect the certification with LinkedIn. Additionally, I gained a deep understanding of the Mixpanel software and its use cases. The finished project can be seen here (Mixpanel login is required).

Communication and Collaboration

While working on my project, I realized the necessity of collaboration. I learned how to effectively ask questions and reach out for help when facing roadblocks. By leveraging the input of others, I was able to create a product that was much more robust and effective. Also, I learned to communicate my vision for the project and discussed to ensure that the final product was up to everyone's standards. These skills were used to help create the project linked above.

Industry and Business Knowledge

Working at Mixpanel, I was able to meet up with all the teams within the company to better understand their job roles. I learned how different teams collaborated to produce results and discovered the importance of maintaining company culture and conducting team building events. Additionally, I also gained insight into the business model, struggles, and successes of a business to business company that sells software as a service. This knowledge was used to create a more effective learning platform which is linked above.
