Mixpanel Solutions Engineer Intern

• Used WorkRamp and Navattic to design new learning management system to train Mixpanel customers. Migrated/wrote documentation of software, enabled video and quiz capabilities, and connected certification with LinkedIn.
• Launched LMS to pilot customers, collected feedback, presented results. Received first-ever Mixpanel certification.

Mar 2024 – Present

Student Researcher

• Conducted mathematical research on Elo rating systems. Researched existing literature. Used calculus and convolutions to develop novel optimization for accuracy of rating systems over time. Gave talk at Symposium.
• Created Monte Carlo simulations in Python to model changes in ratings over time and validate theoretical results.

Sept 2023 – Present

Center for Undergraduate Research Board of Students

• University Council Liaison to the Herbert Wertheim College of Engineering. Facilitated communication between college faculty, other student organizations, and undergraduate students about research opportunities.
• Planned projects to further increase research outreach. Center for Undergraduate Research’s student representative for organizing the College of Engineering’s largest-ever research symposium.

Sept 2023 – May 2024

Machine Intelligence Laboratory

• Member of Software Team for SubjuGator, an autonomous underwater vehicle. Used ROS and Python to contribute to code base for computer vision, controls, sensors, and actuators.

Math Tutor and Test Writer

• Partnered with local library to provide weekly math and chess lecture series. President of high school Math Honor Society. Privately tutored middle/high school students in advanced math topics and SAT testing strategies.
• Test writer for Math Honor Society statewide convention on topics ranging from precalculus to number theory.

Banking Tracker Project

• Created a full-stack mobile app using Flutter that allows users to transfer money to others and track finances over time. Implemented user authentication, customizable profiles, and a credit score system.
• Learned principles in user-friendly design, database integration with Firestore, and testing using emulators.

Dec 2023 – Jan 2024

Chess Engine Project

• Used Python and C++ to create a fully functional chess user interface featuring drag/drop functionality, FEN string compatibility, move animations, highlights, and written annotations.
• Implemented chess AI using the mini-max search algorithm with alpha-beta pruning. Used move-ordering heuristics to further accelerate search. Evaluated positions based off piece-square tables and piece mobility.
